Andrew Odom, Another Kind of Drew

In the past seven years Andrew has had the privilege of working with skillful and efficient designers, brilliant photographers, intelligent companies, insightful and gifted writers, innovative and refined coders, and focused and aggressive communities all working towards one thing; quality.

As an editor, a photo producer, a project manager, a community manager, a professional blogger, a freelance writer, and a social media consultant, his job has been largely to help change the way the world communicates. Whether it be through the printed word, the photographic image, or the digital file, he has worked to develop and strengthen human connection through the aforementioned actions.

Andrew holds a Bachelors of Music from Florida State University in Music Theatre and a minor in English. While there he began his journalism career with Florida Heritage magazine in Tallahassee. A few years later Andrew continued his studies by earning a Masters in Education from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since then he has co-founded OV CyberSolutions, Inc., a new media design company, in Norfolk, Virginia, worked as a Project Manager for Evoca, LLC based in Savannah, Georgia, served as Online Managing Editor and Production Manager for The South magazine, in Savannah, GA, cultivated community as Community Manager of MinuteFix, LLC based in San Jose, California, Co-founded CityPorters, LLC, and been published in magazines and news sources around the country. Some of his clients include Skype, Relevant Magazine, Anthropologie, CIVVIES on Broughton, Westin Savannah Harbor, Georgia Southern University and FringeNYC. He is currently the senior designer and Online Manager of Barnesville Herald-Gazette.
